This works by heating up the capillaries which will then reduce the blood flow to the sebaceous glands and decrease the over-production of oil in the skin.
We are able to treat three kinds of acne.

• Acne Vulgaris – Clogging of the hair follicles which leads to painful skin legions and pimples.
• Acne Conglobate – This can appear on the back, neck, chest and buttocks with pustules and nodules which can lead to bacterial infections and scarring.
• Acne Rosacea – an inflammation of the face, neck and sometimes chest.

This is a course of 4 treatments taking place every 3 weeks.
Treatments may need to be repeated in the future to maintain the skin.

The IPL system is safe and clean, it works by destroying the hair follicle which is then unable to produce new hair. To ensure optimal light transmission into the hair a thin layer of gel is applied to the skin before treatment.
The AW3 machine has pre-programmed settings for different hair and skin colours ( from fair to dark) and adjusts the energy output for each individual client.

We recommend 6 sessions for optimum results, how ever some clients with notice results after less and some requiring more. This is simply based on the individual and will be discussed during the initial consultation.
It is essential you do not wax or pluck the area throughout the duration of your treatment with us. If hair needs removing then shaving the area is fine, it is also very important to avoid tanning ( sun beds, sun, self tan ) 30 days before your treatment and an spf30 + needs to be worn for several days afterwards if the treatment area will have sun exposure.

By law any treatments carried out require a consultation and a patch test. IPL is suitable for men, women and we welcome transsexual and transgender clients.

When our laser comes into contact with the skin/tattoo the laser light is absorbed by the ink this creates a shock wave and shatters it into minute particles. These particles are then carried through the body and leave though the lymphatic system.

Customers will see a reduction after their first treatment, however to completely remove a tattoo depending on the ink colour, depth and age it can take between 4-8 treatments. These will be carried out at 6 week intervals.
